We started out in June 2024, just ahead of the general election, CharlesDoesPolitics began out as a project dedicated to collecting and preserving political memorabilia, capturing a unique snapshot of political life. Our mission grew through out 2024, we expanded our coverage to include local by-election, providing week by week results and monthly summaries. In 2025, we covered our first local elections and began to prepare for 2026 when we will cover our first Senedd and Scottish Parliament elections. Today, CharlesDoesPolitics combines a passion for political history with real-time coverage, aiming to document, inform, and engage with politics at every level.
